  1. VERSION 2.00 -
  2.         This was the first "ShareWare" release.  CHOU I was
  3. written in Turbo Pascal version 3.0, with some assembly lang.
  4. routines for faster screen writing.
  5.  
  6. VERSION 2.20 -
  7.         This was the result of upgrading to version 5.0 of Turbo 
  8. Pascal.  It required many changes, mostly transparent to the 
  9. user; possibly 10% of the code.  A couple of minor yet annoying 
  10. bugs were corrected at the same time.  All changes affected 
  11. display-control and keyboard input only.  (Late Summer, 1988).

  13. VERSION 2.21 -
  14.         About a dozen minor translation changes were made to to 
  15. GLOSS.DAT, SEEK1.DAT, and SEEK2.DAT.  (Late Fall, 1988). 
  16.  
  17. VERSION 2.22 -
  18.         A few translation changes were made to JUDGES.DAT, 
  19. SEEK1.DAT, and SEEK2.DAT on July 14, 1989.  These affected 
  20. Hexagrams 33, 34, and 56 only. 
  21.  
  22. VERSION 2.23 -
  23.         The routine RECALL A SESSION now returns to the "1st 
  24. Gram" display.  The Instructions now have page numbers.  
  25. (Mid-summer, 1989).

  27. VERSION 2.24 -
  28.         A few translation changes were made to JUDGES.DAT, 
  29. SEEK1.DAT, and SEEK2.DAT on March 11, 1990.  These affected 
  30. Hexagrams 21, 34, 35, and 55 only.  Also updated to Turbo
  31. Pascal version 5.5 for all compilation.

  33. VERSION 2.25 -
  34.         A few translation changes were made to JUDGES.DAT, 
  35. SEEK1.DAT, and SEEK2.DAT on July 22, 1990.  These affected 
  36. Hexagrams 6, 10, 16, 20, 21, 22, and 23 only.  Also, upper-
  37. case letters are now allowed when "casting" a hexagram.

  39. VERSION 2.30 -
  40.         Upgraded to version 6.0 of Turbo Pascal.  Added 
  41. mouse support, "pick-lists" for file retrieval & viewing
  42. a Hexagram (Menu item #3).  Also made the I/O more "bullet-
  43. proof".  The pick-list and menus (including mouse support)
  44. are by Object Professional, from TurboPower Software.  
  45. This upgrade was sent to PC-SIG in Dec., 1990.

  47. VERSION 2.31 -
  48.         A few translation changes were made to SEEK1.DAT 
  49. and SEEK2.DAT in March 1991.  These affected Hexagrams 10, 
  50. 43, and 54 only.  A "pick-list" was added for selecting
  51. GLOSSary words, and the Glossary window was made moveable.  
  52. Minor cosmetic changes were made throughout the program.

  54. VERSION 2.32 -
  55.         Many minor translation changes were made to SEEK1.DAT, 
  56. SEEK2.DAT and JUDGES.DAT in Sept. 1991.  These affected 
  57. Hexagrams 28, 40, 41, 51, 53, 56, 57, 59, 61, 62, 63, and 64. 
  58. MANUAL.COM was updated to reflect recent program changes.
  59.  
  60. VERSION 2.33 -
  61.         Eight Glossary entries were added, and a bug causing
  62. program hang-up when non-CHOU I files were read was fixed, on
  63. All Hallows Eve, 1991.
  64.  
  65. VERSION 2.40 -
  66.         Upgraded to version 7.0 of Turbo Pascal.  Changed 
  67. some colors to look better on LCD and mono-VGA screens.  Fixed
  68. a bug which caused display of erroneous lines or judgements 
  69. when switching from display of Sequence #2.  This is the last
  70. "ShareWare" release.
  71.  
  72. VERSION 2.50 -
  73.         Added IMAGES for the Hexagrams, in a full-screen window.
  74. Changed the odds of receiving each line type, to agree with
  75. Yarrow Stalk method.  (This yields fewer changing lines.)  Made
  76. minor translation changes which affected Hexagrams 15, 20, 22,
  77. and 24.  2.50 is for Commercial sale and registered users only.
